Effects
(1) At low concentrations maltose PPI dendrimers of fourth and fifth generation have the capacity to accelerate Aβ(1–40) peptide fibril formation.
(2) Maltose-modified PPI dendrimers are able to cross the BBB when administered i.n. to WT and APP/PS1 transgenic mice.
