Effects (1) Pec-g-poly(AMPS-co-AAm) /ZnO attained equilibrium at the end of 24 h and was seen to be saturated at the end of 20 h.The equilibrium (Qe) amount of the drug adsorbed was 273.91 mg/g of the adsorbent.(2) ZnO loaded polymer systems allowed for a release of Donepezil to the extent of 32.58 ± 0.58% and 59.36 ± 2.69% at the end of 48 h in PBS respectively(3) The crystalline zinc oxide nanoparticles show sharp peaks at 2θ values 31.70°, 34.44°, 36.24°, 47.77°, 56.60°, 63.00° and 67.96° (not shown) (4) Around 8.8 wt% residue has been observed even after the complete degradation process of the nanocomposite system which indicates the presence of ZnO nanoparticles
